Goals

GIPWest (Game Innovators Portal West) was established with the goal of organizing the abundance of talented professionals throughout the Kansai region in order to help develop, expand, and liven up Japan’s game industry.

We hope that through our actions, we’ll be able to communicate to the world the unique splendor found in Japanese game design, demonstrating just what it is about game creation and the resulting product that’s so enthralling.

We look forward to being able to provide a space (a “portal”, if you will) where both individual game creators and development houses sharing similar dreams and concerns can come together in support of one another.
